Kirkland, WA. (September 6, 2005) -
The Raytheon
Company has awarded a contract to The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI) for
modernization of a subset of code of the Patriot Missile. Upon demonstration of a fully automated
transformation of that code where the transformed code also meets stringent
coding standards, Raytheon plans to have TSRI move forward with the
modernization of other portions of that system's code.
Randy Doblar, TSRI's Chief Operating
Officer said, "TSRI has a long and award winning
history supporting the system modernization needs of Raytheon. We are pleased to again be working with their
highly skilled staff on another project that addresses a system vital to our
nation's security and the security of our allies. We are confident in our success and in the
prospect of moving forward with Raytheon to address the other portions of the
system."
