Kirkland, WA. (August 1, 2007) – Harris Corporation, with The Software Revolution,
Inc. (TSRI) as a key team member, has been awarded a 5-year Government-Wide
Acquisition Contract (GWAC) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to
provide integrated IT solutions that support federal agency missions. The Harris team was one of
29 companies to be awarded the initial Alliant contract, which has an
additional 5-year option that brings the total 10-year contract ceiling to $50
billion.
Under the contract, the Harris team will compete
with the other companies to provide a wide range of IT products and services to
support federal agency needs in the United States and overseas. The Harris team’s
solutions will be designed to meet requirements for individual IT applications,
general IT management, and overall IT infrastructure needs.
Randy Doblar, TSRI’s Chief Operating Officer said, “TSRI
is excited to be part of this huge team win to support GSA over the next 5 to
10 years. The availability of this
contract vehicle, as well as the entrée it affords to the highly qualified and
widely distributed Harris team and their customer base, will allow TSRI to
identify new legacy system modernization projects in a wide range of government
marketplaces. We are proud to have been
selected by Harris as a team member for this effort and we look forward to
working with Harris and the Alliant team in the future.”
