"Telos Corporation Selects TSRI To Support DTIC System Modernization"
Kirkland, WA. (Oct. 7, 2003) - Telos Corporation has awarded a Sole
Source contract to The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI) to modernize the
Defense User Registration Systems (DURS) of the Defense Technical
Information Center (DTIC).
The current UNISYS 2200 COBOL application, with a RDBMS database and
embedded SQL code, will be transformed into a fully functional
equivalent application running on Sun Solaris with Java and Java Server
Pages screens, which in turn, will be running on a I Planet web server.
Randy Doblar, TSRI's Vice-President of Sales &
Marketing said, "This project blends TSRI's transformation and
web-enablement services for both a new integration partner and a new
government customer. By continuing to meet our goal of 100% customer
satisfaction, TSRI expects to translate success in modernizing DURS
into a broader entrée to both DTIC and the larger DISA organizations."
