'Northrop Grumman IT Selects The Software Revolution, Inc. To
Support Mission Planning System Development'
Bothell, WA. (Aug 22, 2002) - Northrop Grumman IT (NGIT) has awarded a contract to
The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI) to demonstrate its automated legacy system modernization
process against the Ada code of an existing aircraft weapon electronics system. The weapon
electronics system, along with many other such systems, will be future components of a new
joint mission planning system.
Randy Doblar, TSRI's Vice President of Sales & Marketing said, 'The mission planning system
being developed by Northrop Grumman IT is an important new tool that will allow the services
to better coordinate aircraft operations. TSRI is pleased to have the opportunity to
demonstrate its Ada modernization capabilities to NGIT as a potential 'first-step' in
modernizing the wide variety of aircraft systems that need to be integrated to better
support joint military air operations.'
