"The U.S. Air Force Selects The Software Revolution, Inc. To Support Logistics System
Modernization"
Bothell, WA. (May 9, 2002) - The U.S. Air Force has awarded a $492,000 Sole Source contract to
The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI) to provide a detailed design assessment of the
Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS) and follow-on technical support. Completion of the project
will provide the Air Force with a fundamental building block necessary to address the future framework
of the planned Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
Randy Doblar, TSRI's Vice President of Sales & Marketing said, "The Air Force's selection of TSRI,
while being a major 'win' for the company, is also an important step forward for the Air Force.
The Air Force has shown the vision and initiative to select and employ a unique technology and
suite of services that will more rapidly and more efficiently aid their systems modernization
program; at lower cost and at lower risk than would be possible using older traditional approaches.
The Air Force is embarking on a path that will set the framework for the approach to be taken in
the IMDS Program; a critical program aimed at the efficient consolidation of a multitude of legacy
logistics systems that are the backbone of support for the nation's Air Force personnel and
equipment around the globe."
