New Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Bothell, WA. (Sept. 7, 2000) - The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI), a world-class provider of assessment, transformation, re-factoring and web-enablement software services for legacy systems, today announced that technology industry veteran Randy Doblar has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Doblar has over 27 years experience in program and business development in the government and commercial marketplace, both domestically and internationally. After leaving the Department of Defense where he was staff to the Chief of Naval Operations, Mr. Doblar successfully performed as Director of Washington D.C. Operations for Systems Integrated, Director of Business Development for Alliant Techsystems' Advanced Technology Center, and Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Science Applications International Corporation.

In these positions, he managed the company's strategic planning, and sales and marketing efforts focused on a wide variety of high technology applications. These applications included support to the U.S. defense community, and the international SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition Systems), seismic exploration and telecommunications industries.

Mr. Doblar will bring his diverse high technology, strategic planning, and sales and marketing experience to TSRI. "TSRI has a unique technology that is unmatched in its sophistication, speed, accuracy, and ability to reduce our customer's legacy system modernization costs" Mr. Doblar said.
